Lifelike Sugar Flowers by Chef JP

I love exploring! I love trying out new things especially when it comes to food. Just recently, I discovered something new that is surely a game changer in the pastry world–Lifelike Sugar Flowers by Chef JP.
Admit it, at first glance you thought those flowers on top of the cake were real, didn’t you? Because that’s what I’ve thought the first time I saw these beautiful and delicious creations by Chef JP. How can something so beautiful be edible? Read more to find out!

Meet The Chubby Baker, Chef JP Acain, a Master Cake Decorator based in Cagayan de Oro City. JP is currently a registered nurse and at the same time a pastry chef. I’ve always known him as a person who has a deep love for food and art. With his passion in baking and mastery of skills in pastry arts, it definitely shows in his creations! I find it truly inspiring to see someone enjoy what they love to do most.

Chef JP is also currently a mentor of  a highly-recognized pastry school in Cagayan de Oro–Sweet House Pastry School by Chef Mich Uapal. Read more about it here.

He specializes hands-on of modern 2tier wedding cake with lifelike sugar flowers. Basically the students will learn how to cut, frill, dust with edible petal dust, and bundle lifelike flowers in just 2 days (WOW!). Not only that, the students will also learn how to  make Open and Close Peony, Peony Leaves, Poppy Flower, Jubilee Rose, Hydrangeas, Filler Flowers, Rolled Fondant, Flower Paste, and sooo much more!
