As a tropical country, the Philippines is blessed with breathtaking coastlines and usually enjoys a sunny climate all throughout the year. With its beautiful islands, it’s no secret that there’s always a perfect summer paradise for everyone. Whether they’re off-the-beaten-path or timeless destinations, here are some places I highly recommend for you to visit this summer:
1. Boracay Island in Malay Aklan

I’ve been to Boracay only once and I agree that when we talk about Philippine beaches, “bora” would be the most mainstream. But, I also agree that it’s still one of the most beautiful beaches here in the county.
2. Panglao Island in Bohol

I’ve read countless reviews about well-known tourist destinations in Bohol, but to be honest– I’ve never been to Bohol. That’s why Alona Beach Area in Panglao Island is one of the beaches I wanted to visit this summer. I heard it boasts its own stretch of white sand and serene atmosphere. Perfect summer getaway from the hustle and bustle life in the city!
3. Camiguin Island

This little island is not dubbed as the island born of fire for no reason. It’s quite known for its seven volcanoes and hot springs. I’ve been to Camiguin more than once, but this island still never fails to amaze me!
4. Bantayan Island, Cebu

Palawan isn’t the only island in the country surrounded with fascinating beaches. There’s also a beach gem in Cebu that’s quite perfect for beach bums like myself! Located in the northern tip of Cebu, Bantayan Island is home to a handful of beach resorts that are definitely Instagram-worthy!
5. Coron, Palawan

Palawan offers a lot of jaw dropping sceneries and it does live up to its reputation as the Philippines Last Ecological Frontier. Pristine waters, astonishing islands, and a breathtaking marine life. It’s the perfect place for beach bums and beach lusting souls out there.
