Apologies again for not having to update this blog for quite a while. As I’ve mentioned in my previous post, the past few weeks were spent traveling in and out of different cities to enjoy every minute of summer. I have to be honest, at every place we’ve been to, I kept on saying “I need to blog about this!” because since I’m a blogger, I think it’s mandatory that I should update my blog regularly haha! But I hope you guys were updated through my real-time Instagram posts, which I happen to update almost every minute lol
Last April 8, my friends and I started our adventure with a bus ride on a night trip bound to Davao City. We figured we need to rest for a day before we south at Mati City for the coolest party of the season: SUMMERFROLIC 2015!!!
We arrived in Mati City on April 10, which happened to be the first day of Summerfrolic (it’s a two-day beach party at Dahican Beach Resorts). My butt felt so sore after a 4-hour bus ride from Davao.
During daytime, we do some touristy things. Mati is just a small place so you wouldn’t worry too much about getting lost, but if you do get lost, enjoy it! That’s where the real adventure is haha! We stayed in Mati for 3 days and 2 nights.
On our first day, after we did an afternoon stroll at the Baywalk, we then headed out to the beach to breathe in some ocean breeze and go surfing lol just kidding, we just went out for a quick swim.
These are must haves for every beach bum like myself this summer: Lagu beach towel (life on the sands), Flip-flops (Havaianas), Sunglasses (Rayban), and Sunscreen (Banana Boat) to avoid sunburns.
Whenever the dark covers the sky, we head on over to La-nes’ beach resort for Summerfrolic. No words can describe how awesome the party was. They got the coolest line up of DJs plus the crowd was really great! For two nights, we always go home soaking wet in water + foam + colored powder + paint + body pains everywhere!!!
I won’t be sharing much of what happened during the two-day party. Let’s just put it this way: whatever happened in Mati, stays in Mati. Haha! Overall, the party was really awesome. I NEVER FELT SO ALIVE.
Stay tuned on my next post because I’ll be sharing about my food trips in Davao.
